Q: Who handles payroll?
A: Generally the Human Resources Division handles payroll for the vast majority of employees at the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities. Within the Office of the Chancellor the Business Office employs staff that handle the processing of payroll for the campus presidents and student workers. It is the HR Division that has access to and updates the state SEMA4 data.
Q: Who runs buildings and grounds operations at the individual campuses?
A: Each institutions president performs that function.
