Grant Accounting - Carl D. Perkins Career & Technical Education Act of 2006

The President signed the Carl D. Perkins Vocational and Technical Education Act of 2006, "Perkins IV", into law on August 12, 2006.

Perkins IV is a 6-year act which considers the first year to be a year of transition. During this transition year, we will keep basic funds and "Tech Prep" funds separate. During the 5 years following the transition year, all funds will be considered to be basic funds.
