Laura joined the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system on October 28, 1996. She was Commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Finance from 1994-1996 and before that appointment she served as Assistant Commissioner and State Budget Director. Her accomplishments include leading the administration´s successful efforts to return the state to financial health with four balanced budgets, capital and operating budget reforms, and restoration of the state´s rainy day fund. She holds a master´s degree in business administration from the University of St. Thomas and a bachelor of arts in psychology and statistics from the University of Minnesota.

Colin Dougherty

Colin Dougherty joined the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system in September, 2010. Previously, Colin was with Target Corporation where he served in a variety of leadership roles including Vice President, Financial Planning and Analysis; Chairman, Target Corporation India Private Limited; and sponsor of the Financial Leadership Development Program. Colin received his MBA from the Yale School of Management and his bachelor´s of arts degree in the “Great Books” Program of Liberal Studies and Computer Applications from the University of Notre Dame.

Brian Yolitz

Brian joined the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system on August 18, 2010. He retired after 27 years of service with the United States Air Force. His final assignment was as Director of Installations at Headquarters, US Air Forces Central, Shaw AFB, South Carolina. His responsibilities included planning and execution of $2.1B in construction, service and commodity contracts for the Air Force. Brian has a bachelor´s degree in Civil Engineering from UW - Plattesville, a MS in Engineering Management from the University of Alaska and a master´s degree in National Resource Strategy from the National Defense University.
